Dr Andrew N. Rollinson

After working in various professions, in 2007 I trained as a small-scale renewable energy specialist. Since then I have worked in the UK, Qatar and Australia on small-scale renewable energy projects, plus visited and collaborated on sustainable engineering systems in many parts of Europe and Asia.

With my wife Karen, we set up Blushful Earth after becoming increasingly dissatisfied with how in employment, what is right and just only gets done if it doesn’t conflict with preserving the status and/or profits of employers. Growing up in a mining community where the important things were helping each other, social wealth and cohesion, I was never comfortable with a world influenced by large commercial organisations, and I wanted to work differently.

I am interested in projects which can help the individual and communities be sustainable and long-term energy independent using local resources through the set up, maintainance, fault finding and optimisation of renewable systems, educating others about renewable engineering and so promoting sustainability and common wealth. Please note that for the foreseeable future, I no longer offer a consultancy service.
